After long wait wait of 3 decades, finally India is replacing MIG-21 by Tejas and adding new squadron of supersonic jets called Flying Daggers 45. The name itself reflect the amazing features of fighter plane series, which India is taking after 33 years of long wait.
During design of Tejas, HAL himself set benchmark to MIRAGE 2000, the latest version of fighter machines of world. Yesterday Indian Air Force has received two Tejas by HAL, which are ready for all types of operations, 6 another Tejas, they will receive by 2017.
Technical specifications of Tejas suggest that no other planes stands against it, also JF-17 Thunder of Pak-China, who are jointly developed by them, no were stands in comparison.

Tejas is designed to carry air-to-air, air-to surface and laser based guided missiles and other weaponry systems.
Tejas is equipped with new start-of-the-art Israeli Radar, which is considered to be best radar of world.
Tejas can reach up to height of 50,000 feets which is best and remarkable heights, which every fighter planes carry with.
The maximum speed of Tejas is around 1350 kmph and also it needs very short runway of around 460 metres, whereas JF-17 Thunder of Pak-China needs minimum of 600 metres.
The best feature of Tejas is Mid-Air Refueling system, which is exclusive till time, in similar types of fighter planes like Flying Daggers 45. Internal Fuel capacity is also around 2458 kg, which is 220 kg more than JF-17.
Last but not least, Tejas has Glass cockpit which provides real time informations, which is also exclusive in similar types.
Apart from this, Tejas has lots of fighting features. Tejas may be used in various strategy of wars and modern styles of Wars. There was lots of hot discussions about JF-17 Thunder, which is jointly developed by Pak-China, but sharing a comparison sheets, JF-17 no where stands in front of Tejas.
